William F. Schweitzer, formerly engaged in the hat and gents furnishing business in this city was killed in Champaign, Ill Friday afternoon. He was struck by a runaway team and died a few hours after from his injuries.
Mr. Schweitzer was engaged in the merchantile business in this city for some three or four year,s his store being in the room now occupied by the Western union Telegraph Company. He removed from this city to Champaign wher ehe has since carried on an extensive hat and gents furnishing business. He was 35 years of age and leaves a wife and three children. The funeral will occur at Champaign, Ill Monday afternoon at 2 o'clock - kbz
